Sugar Scale sub-divided at 1% interval so as to measure up to 0.0001. Transmitted light can be used for transparent solutions. Reflected light for dark or semiopaque substances. Color in the border line can be eliminated by a compensating prism and the increase in definition obtained gives creator accuracy of measurement.
